Qingdao Penoda Electrical Co., Ltd. is a technology-driven enterprise that specializes in R& D, production,and service of EV chargers. Our company has a professional R&D engineer team that includes industrial design engineers and software and hardware technology development engineers. We have our own EMC comprehensive laboratory and R&D office building, and a 5000 square meter production and assembly workshop with an SMT circuit board processing workshop.
We offer highly efficient production and processing services to global customers, providing high-quality, high-efficiency, high-precision, and high-security products. Our engineers have rich experience in R&D and production of European and American standard charging stations since 2014. Our product line covers Portable Charger, AC Charger, DC Charger, Power Module, Cloud Management System, and Mobile APP, all independently developed by ourselves.
R&D Team
Chief software engineer——Aaron Zhang
Aaron Zhang joined Penoda in 2014 and has undertaken 150 projects during his tenure. He is currently leading a team of six software engineers, responsible for Penoda’s programming, software, and related work.
He is known for his diligent and hardworking attitude towards his work. His life motto is “There’s always a better way”, he believes that there is always room for improvement in all work, and he strives to continuously improve and find better solutions in his work.
Under his leadership, the entire range of Penoda products is now fully compatible with OCPP1.6J and OCPP2.0 systems.
Chief hardware engineer——Mike Ma
Mike Ma joined Penoda in 2015， He is currently leading a team of eight hardware engineers, His team is responsible for the research and development of the electronic hardware system for charging stations, including but not limited to control boards, communication modules, and charging interfaces.
Before each new product goes into production, the hardware team undergoes thorough debugging and testing to ensure the perfect operation of the product. His motto in life is “Strict self-requirement is the key to surpassing oneself and achieving excellence.” In his work, he demands such strict requirements of himself that he even records the voltage situation at the project site before each order is produced, striving for perfection.
Under his leadership, his team has successfully completed over 120 projects that operate flawlessly in more than 20 countries worldwide.
Chief Structural engineer——Daniel Chen
Daniel Chen joined Penoda in 2016, he is the youngest among all the engineers, but he has shown amazing talent in his work. He leads a team of three structural engineers responsible for the appearance, structure, and internal layout of Penoda products.
Often, when the client roughly describes the appearance they want, he can perfectly meet the client’s requirements and create an appearance that satisfies the client.
His life motto is “Stay curious”. In his work, he continuously learns and masters the internal principles and structures.
He has optimized the internal principles of Penoda products multiple times, making the products run more perfectly.
